Day Tripping: “Bee” Happy at Clovermead

Great fun, educational and sweet!

Just outside of London in Alymer, Ontario, Clovermead Adventure Farm is a great place to take the family for an active, fun day. For just $9 admission (kids 23 months and under are free), it’s worth every penny. There are dozens of activities for kids to play from a giant bouncy pillow, zip lining, rubber duck races, a misty-maze, wagon rides, bee barrel train rides, hay mazes, tire swings, petting zoo and so much more. You are welcome to pack a lunch, but you’ll need to eat it in a designated spot out front with picnic tables.

Clovermead is also a working bee farm. They make a variety of honey and provide beekeeper demos and bee observations stations so you can watch honey bees doing what bees do best. Even the bathrooms have bee observations! Inside the honey store, you can sample a wide variety of honeys from lemon to maple flavoured!

Clovermead was a huge hit with our kids and their cousins. We give it a Fun Ontario Thumbs Up! For more information and directions, visit:Clovermead.
